Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education (BOSSE) has successfully concluded its ongoing secondary and senior secondary examination. All exams were held from18th November 2021 to 16th December 2021. Secondary examinations were conducted from 18th November 2021 to 7th December 2021. While Senior Secondary Examinations were held from 18th November 2021 to 16th December 2021. Exams for all subjects were conducted online, and it has been now one of the most successful events of the organization. The timing of the secondary examination was between 02.00 PM to 04.00 PM. Whereas, senior secondary examinations were conducted between 09.00 AM to 11.00 AM. Hindi was the first paper on the secondary exam date sheet, whereas Economics became the first paper for the senior secondary examination. On the secondary exam date sheet, the first paper was Hindi, while on the senior secondary exam date sheet, the first paper was Economics.



Under Act No. 14 of 2020, the Government of Sikkim established BOSSE – Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education, a well-known open school in Gangtok. The AIU has granted BOSSE's credentials equivalency status, indicating that they can be used in further education. In terms of prestige, this open board ranks alongside AIU and NIOS. It allows you to resume your education and finish your academic year's exams without having to attend a single class at your school or college. It gives people of all ages the freedom and flexibility to learn at their own pace. With the help of educational professionals, the board was established to govern non-formal education and other vocational courses in India to educate school dropouts, private candidates, uneducated youth, the female population, people living in remote areas, disadvantaged groups, underprivileged sections of the society; unemployed and partly employed pupils, etc., to enhance India's literacy rate.



BOSSE, as an open board of school education, provides students with a one-of-a-kind platform for selecting senior and senior secondary courses, and skill and vocational programs. It also provides students with tailored educational support for specific learning objectives such as the NEET, SAT, or other exams. The board is gradually establishing itself as the ideal alternative for students who want to continue their education but aren't focused on accomplishing a specific time-bound goal, such as passing a competitive exam that will allow them to pursue additional studies or qualify them for a desired career.
