ITM Vocational University proudly announces the successful registration of two innovative designs by its students and faculty members, as certified by the The Patent Office, Government of India. These achievements mark a significant milestone in the university’s commitment to fostering practical innovation, applied research, and industry-relevant design development.



The first registered design, titled “Metal Structural Solar Grass Cutter,” has been granted Design No. 480947-001, with the date of registration recorded as November 20, 2025. Classified under Class 15-03, the design represents a forward-thinking approach to sustainable agricultural technology, combining structural efficiency with renewable energy integration. The innovation reflects a strong emphasis on eco-friendly solutions and mechanization in agriculture. The contributors to this design include Mr. Rahul Chaurasiya, Mr. Nirav Thakar, Mr. Pankaj Raval, Mr. Sunil Rabari, Mr. Patel Ketul Nayan, Mr. Vidit Pratap Singh Chauhan, Mr. Dabgar Tirth Ashish, and Mr. Parmar Ashish Tirth.



The second registered design, titled “3D-Printer Assembly,” has been granted Design No. 480662-001, with a registration date of November 18, 2025, under Class 15-09. This innovation highlights advancements in additive manufacturing systems, demonstrating precision engineering and practical assembly design. It underscores the growing importance of 3D printing technologies in modern manufacturing and education. The design team includes Dr. Mayank Dev Singh, Mr. Mayur Chavda, Ms. Apexa Purohit, Dr. Anil M. Bisen, Dr. Jai Bahadur Balmrshi, Mr. Dhrumil Shah, Mr. Naitik Patel, Mr. Deval Patel, Mr. Nirav Thakar, Mr. Jogesh Chaudhry, and Mr. Prashant Sharma.



Both designs have been officially certified with a Certificate of Registration of Design, affirming their originality and industrial applicability. The recognition by the Government of India highlights the innovative capabilities nurtured at ITM Vocational University and reinforces its role as a hub for skill-based education and research-driven development.
