Spiritual leader Gauranga Das Prabhu Ji, Director of ISKCON's Govardhan Ecovillage, reiterates the historic event of the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, which was consecrated on Monday under the supreme guidance, blessings, and vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The event also saw RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat and several other dignitaries, actors, and spiritual leaders in attendance. The historic judgment by the Supreme Court on January 1, 1993, recognizing Lord Ram as a constitutional entity, paved the way for the eventual resurrection of the Ram Mandir. The 'Pran Pratishta' ceremony marks a significant step towards a new dawn of spiritual awakening and enlightenment in India, providing Lord Ram's devotees access to worship Lord Ram at his birthplace, Ayodhya, with conviction and renewed spirituality.

ISKCON was founded under the leadership of the late Swami Prabhupada, who laid the foundation of the 'Hare Krishna movement'. Today, it has 800 temples worldwide and 10 million devotees, dedicatedly striving to spread the message of the preeminent holy text of 'Santhan Dharma' mentioned in the holy scriptures of the Bhagavad Gita. As the historic moment of the Grand Inauguration of Ram Mandir Ayodhya' unfolded for the world to witness, the ISKCON Foundation formed the 'Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust' for Prasad Distribution Seva, along with the book distribution, Ram Katha, sankirtan and free medical camps for pilgrims and sadhus visiting the temple, from 20th January to 26th February 2024, at the Ram Mandir. The Kshetra is founded with the divine goal of establishing 'seva' for the relentless stream of devotees making their way to Ayodhya to worship Ram Lalla. The foundation aims to foster heightened spiritual awareness and the spirit of seva while ensuring safety through the establishment of medical camps for pilgrims in the event of medical emergencies.



He believes that the resurgence of the temple will help people understand the true purpose of religion, which is the attainment of spiritual peace and the alleviation of mental health disorders like anxiety and depression that lead to higher incidences of physical ailments. The Ram temple will play a pivotal role in altering the identities of devotees by embracing a contemplative spiritual practice that will ensure devotees take charge of their identity through prayer, meditation, devotion and service to mankind through true revival and prosperity of the mind & soul. Furthermore, Gauranga Das Prabhu Ji highlighted the economic significance associated with the revival of the Ram Mandir. He focused on how India has been celebrated for decades for its profound spiritual heritage and has been a magnet for tourists from around the globe. With the resurgence of the Ram Mandir, spiritual tourism is expected to receive its rightful recognition. The historical revival of the Ram Mandir is anticipated to draw devotees of Lord Ram from various corners of the world to Ayodhya.
