Onlygood a sustainability monitoring & management platform for real-time product traceability has successfully organized the 3rd ‘Aravali Plantation Drive’ to emphasize the need for creating, maintaining, protecting and growing the biodiversity elements in the ecologically fragile Aravalli range with the commitment to its social responsibilities towards the country.

The drive began at 7:30 in the morning and went on passionately till 9:30 am at Suncity, Gurugram. It witnessed participation from over sixty people. A total of 750 saplings of different varieties were evenly planted in a sequenced style as an investment for future generations to provide them natural shade in open spaces and clean air to breathe. In the earlier two drives more than 2000 saplings were planted with community participation.

The drive was graced by the presence of India’s Pondman- Mr. Ramveer Tanwar (an environmentalist and TEDx speaker) who briefed the participants on water conservation, water body revival and Eco-balance.

Emphasizing the need to protect and conserve the environment, Mr. Rajeev Sinha, Co-Founder & CEO – Onlygood said “Health of the environment is as important as the health of an individual. While we have planted trees, let’s also pledge to nurture them”. Thanking the participants, he further added “I am extremely proud and happy to witness such great enthusiasm exhibited by all the people who took part in the Aravali Plantation Drive today. With you all by-our-side, this initiative will go a long way in inculcating awareness among more and more people on environment conservation, and increasing the green cover in the country at a rapid pace”.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vivek Mehra, Co-Founder– Onlygood highlighted the fact that “Planting a tree is not just a kind act but a social responsibility. I am glad to see people realizing the need of maintaining ecological balance and conserving the environment. I thank all the participants for taking out the time and pledging for a better, greener India”. He further added “We aim at executing such drives every year as it is a great way to involve participants, making them more conscious and aware about the environment and its conservation. Additionally, it underlines an extraordinary positive impact on the environment and all beings”.
