May India and Egypt remain best of friends for ever,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And entertainment Industry in a webinar celebrating National Day of Arab Republic of Egypt.
The National Day of Egypt is celebrated on July, 23, which coincides with the annual celebration of the Egyptian Revolution of 1952 when the modern republic of Egypt was declared, ending the period of the Kingdom of Egypt.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah one of the first Indians to be honoured in Cairo International Film Festival in 2010. He is also chairing Indo Egypt Film And Cultural Forum created many years back in association with the Embassy of Egypt in New Delhi, to develop and promote relations between two countries through art and culture.
Large numbers of programs have been organized now and then under cultural exchange including scholarship to the student from Egypt to study cinema at Asian Academy of Film And Television.
