Hundreds of mums will be coming together online for a free 10 day challenge starting Monday 29th Jan 2018 to release exhaustion, stress, overwhelm and guilt and lay the foundations to a calmer, happier, more productive life.



69% of mums who took part in a recent survey feel overwhelmed at a level of 8 or more out of 10 and wonder how they are going to get everything done.



This event is another chance to take part in a ground-breaking experiment in 2017 where 80 stressed mums signed up to try out a powerful new technique for just 5 minutes a day, many of which experienced extraordinary and unexpected results.



After doing just 5 minutes of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) / Tapping a day for 30 days, they reported a 43% reduction in anxiety, a 39% reduction in overwhelm and a 40% reduction in the thoughts about how they will get it all done.



EFT is a powerful and effective tool that releases negative emotions such as stress, anxiety or overwhelm, often within minutes. It can be used as a self-help tool or on more complex issues such as trauma or addiction, with a practitioner. It involves tapping on various points on the body on meridian or energy lines in the same places where an acupuncturist would put needles. Studies have shown that stimulating acupuncture points has a calming effect on the amygdala in the brain which is associated with the fight, flight, freeze response and for processing emotions. EFT is available in some areas on the NHS for anxiety. Research has shown it to be evidence based for a number of conditions including PTSD, anxiety and depression but more are expected to follow with future research confirming the experience of EFT in the field.



On the 10 day challenge mums will be asked to set aside 5 minutes a day to watch and follow an EFT demonstration video that releases the stress and overwhelm associated with various topics such as not being able to change and not having enough time. Mums will be encouraged to share their experience of EFT on a private Facebook group for support and accountability.
